Morocco’s COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 7,581 with 43 New Fatalities

43 deaths due to coronavirus were recorded in 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced. The number of people who have succumbed to coronavirus now stands at 7,581 since the start of the epidemic in March last year.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 10 deaths, including 5 in Casablanca, 4 in Settat and 1 in Berrechid. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra each have 7 deaths. While Tétouan recorded 3 deaths against 2 in Al Hoceima, 1 in M’Diq-Fnideq and 1 in Chefchaouen, Covid-19 caused 3 deaths in Salé against 2 in Sidi Kacem, 1 in Skhirate-Témara and 1 in Rabat.
In the Oriental region, there are 5 deaths with 2 in Berkane, 1 in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Figuig and 1 in Taourit. Then come Fès-Meknès and Béni-Mellal-Khénifra, each with 4 deaths, including 2 in Fès, 1 in Meknès, 1 in Tanounate, 2 in Fquih Ben Salah and 2 in Khourigba.
Marrakech-Safi reports 3 deaths, including 2 in Marrakech and 1 in Safi. It is followed by Souss-Massa, which has 2 deaths, all in Tiznit. As for Darâa-Tafilalet, it has 1 death in Midelt.
