Morocco’s COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 7,767 as 24 New Fatalities Reported

Some 24 patients have succumbed to the coronavirus in 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said, bringing the number of deaths due to the coronavirus in the kingdom to 7,767 since the start of the epidemic last March.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, the authorities announce 9 deaths with 7 in Casablanca, 1 in Berrechid and 1 in Benslimane. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra recorded 4 deaths, all in Rabat. The Oriental region reports 3 deaths, including 2 in Figuig and 1 in Oujda-Angad.
Covid-19 killed 2 people in Daraa-Tafilalet with 1 death in Midelt and 1 in Errachidia. Then come Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Souss-Massa, Fès-Meknès, Marrakech-Safi, Béni Mellal-Khénifra and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, each recording 1 death respectively in Al Hoceima, Tiznit, Fès, Youssoufia, Béni Mellal and Es-Semara.
