Morocco's King Mohammed VI to Mark 26th Throne Anniversary with Nationwide Address and Military Ceremonies

King Mohammed VI will deliver a speech to Moroccans on the occasion of the commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the Throne. On Wednesday and Thursday, the Moroccan sovereign is to preside over the ceremonies commemorating the Throne Feast, announces the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery.

"The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announces that on the occasion of the commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, to the Throne of His glorious ancestors, His Majesty the King, may God preserve him, will address a Speech to His faithful people.

The Royal Speech will be broadcast on radio and television on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 9:00 PM.

His Majesty the King, may God glorify him, will also preside, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in the afternoon, over a reception at the prefecture square in M’diq-Fnideq, in the city of M’diq.

In the afternoon of Thursday, July 31, 2025, His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, will preside, at the Mechouar square at the Royal Palace in Tetouan, over the swearing-in ceremony before His Majesty by the officers, new graduates of the various military, paramilitary and civilian schools and institutes.

On this occasion, and by Order of His Majesty the King, may God glorify him, the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces will offer a luncheon at the Officers’ Mess Circle in Tetouan.

His Majesty the King, may God assist him, will also preside over the allegiance ceremony in the late afternoon of the same day at the Mechouar square at the Royal Palace in Tetouan."
