Royal Splendor in M’diq: Morocco’s Throne Feast Preparations Dazzle as King Mohammed VI Set to Preside

The city of M’diq is preparing to host the royal reception ceremony on the occasion of the Throne Feast, scheduled for Wednesday, July 30.
This reception ceremony, which is part of the festivities marking the 26th anniversary of the Throne Feast, will take place on the square of the prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq in M’diq, under the chairmanship of King Mohammed VI.
The city is bustling to ensure the success of the event. Tents and various equipment have already been installed to welcome the monarch and his guests, reports Rue20. The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Decorations has also sent special invitation cards to the guests, bearing the name of the invited person and a number to be presented before accessing the venue of the ceremony.
Mobile phones are prohibited during the ceremony, warned the Ministry of the Royal Household and Protocol. Foreign guests will respect the following dress code: traditional attire or dark suit for men, and traditional attire or long dress for women.
For Moroccans, the ministry requires a djellaba or a selham for men, and a caftan for women. Military personnel will wear their No. 1 uniform. The ceremony is expected to see the participation of Moroccan and foreign artistic, sports and political personalities.
