Morocco Reports 40 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 7,685
40 deaths were recorded in 24 hours, announced the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of deaths recorded since the beginning of the epidemic in Morocco to 7,685.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region recorded 8 deaths, all in Casablanca. It is followed by Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, each reporting 5 deaths. While M’Diq-Fnideq reported 2 deaths against 1 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Tetouan and 1 in Tangier-Assilah, the coronavirus killed 2 patients in Skhirate-Témara, 2 in Salé and 1 in Rabat.
In the Souss-Massa and Oriental regions, there are 4 deaths, including 2 in Guercif, 1 in Berkane, 1 in Oujda-Angad and 4 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane. Then come Marrakech-Safi, Fès-Meknès, Darâa-Tafilalet and Béni Mellal-Khénifra, each recording 3 deaths, including 1 in Marrakech, 1 in Essaouira, 1 in El Kelâa des Sraghna, 2 in Fès, 1 in Meknès, 2 in Errachidia, 1 in Tinghir, 1 in Khourigba, 2 in Béni Mellal.
The Guelmin-Oued-Noun region recorded, for its part, two deaths, both in Tan Tan.
