Morocco Reports 27 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 7,452
Some 27 patients succumbed to the coronavirus in 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced, bringing the number of deaths in Morocco to 7,452 since the start of the epidemic last March.
The number of deaths in the Greater Casablanca-Settat region has declined in recent days. It stood at 8 deaths, all in Casablanca. The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region recorded 5 deaths, including 1 in Salé, 1 in Skhirate-Témara, 1 in Rabat, 1 in Khémisset and 1 in Sidi Kacem. It is followed by Souss-Massa and Marrakech-Safi, which recorded 3 deaths with 2 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 1 in Tiznit, 2 in Marrakech and 1 in El Kelâa des Sraghna.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Beni Mellal-Khénifra each recorded 2 deaths, including 1 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Tétouan and 1 in Khouribga and 1 in Béni Mellal. Then come the Oriental, Guelmin-Oued Noun, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Drâa-Tafilalet, each recording 1 death respectively in Guercif, Guelmin, Laâyoune and Errachidia.
