Morocco Reports 53 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 7,538

The Ministry of Health reported 53 deaths in 24 hours, bringing the number of people who have died in Morocco since last March to 7,538.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, the coronavirus has killed 27 people, including 19 in the metropolis, 5 in El Jadida, 2 in Settat and 1 in Benslimane. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Béni Mellal-Khénifra each recorded 6 deaths. Rabat announces 2 deaths against 1 in Salé, 1 in Skhirate-Témara, 1 in Kénitra, 1 in Sidi Kacem while Azilal, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah and Khénifra recorded 2, 2, 1 and 1 deaths respectively.
Fès-Meknès reported 4 deaths with 1 death in Fès, 1 in Meknès, 1 in Séfrou and 1 in Taza. It is followed by Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima which has 3 deaths, including 1 in Tanger-Assilah, 1 in Chefchaouen and 1 in Larache.
Souss-Massa, Marrakech-Safi and Darâa-Tafilalet each have 2 deaths, including 1 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 1 in Tiznit, 2 in Marrakech, 1 in Tinghir and 1 in Errachidia. As for Lâayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, it recorded 1 death in Lâayoune.
