Morocco Reports 24 New COVID-19 Deaths, Total Fatalities Rise to 7,709

24 people died from coronavirus in 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said. The number of people who have succumbed to Covid-19 in the kingdom now stands at 7,709 since the start of the pandemic last March.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, 6 people died from the coronavirus, including 4 in Casablanca, 1 in El Jadida and 1 in Settat. Souss-Massa and Daraa-Tafilalet each report 4 deaths, including 4 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 3 in Errachidia and 1 in Zagora.
Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Fez-Meknes, Marrakech-Safi and the Oriental each report 2 deaths. Tetouan and Al Hoceima each record 1 death, as do Oujda-Angad and Berkane, Essaouira, Rehamna, Fez, Taounate. As for Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, it has 1 death in Salé.
