Morocco Reports 32 New COVID-19 Deaths as Fatality Rate Declines

Deaths due to coronavirus are declining in Morocco. Some 32 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of people who have died from Covid-19 since the beginning of the epidemic in March last year to 7,227.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region has 7 deaths, including 6 in Casablanca and 1 in Berrechid. It is followed by Souss-Massa, which reports 5 deaths with 2 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 2 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Tiznit.
In the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Marrakech-Safi, 4 people died. While Kénitra reported 1 death against 1 in Skhirate-Témara, 1 in Khémisset and 1 in Sidi Kacem, the coronavirus killed 2 people in Tétouan, 1 in M’Diq-Fnideq and 1 in Tiznit. As for Marrakech and Essaouira, they recorded 3 and 1 deaths respectively.
In the Fès-Meknès region, there are 3 deaths, including 1 in Fès, 1 in Séfrou and 1 in Meknès. The coronavirus caused two deaths in the Oriental, both in Oujda-Angad. Darâa-Tafilalet also recorded 2 deaths, including 1 in Midelt and 1 in Zagora. Only one death was recorded in Beni Mellal-Khénifra.
