Morocco Reports Significant Drop in COVID-19 Deaths, Daily Toll Falls to 17

The death toll from coronavirus in Morocco has recorded a record decline. Some 17 deaths were recorded in 24 hours, bringing the number of patients who have succumbed to Covid-19 in the Kingdom since the start of the epidemic to 7,784, with a fatality rate of 1.7%.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region has 7 deaths, including 5 in Casablanca and 2 in Settat. It is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, which has 4 deaths, including 2 in Skhirat-Témara and 2 in Sidi Kacem. In the Oriental region, 3 people died, with 2 deaths in Taourirt and 1 in Oujda-Angad.
In the Darâa-Tafilalet region, the coronavirus killed 2 patients, including 1 in Errachidia and 1 in Zagora. Only 1 death was recorded in Tan Tan in the Guelmin-Oued-Noun region.
