Morocco Reports 52 New COVID-19 Deaths, Toll Rises to 6,711

Morocco recorded 52 deaths due to the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health announced. The number of people who have died from Covid-19 in the Kingdom stands at 6,711 with a fatality rate of 1.7%.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region announces 20 deaths, including 19 in the metropolis and 1 in Mohammedia. In the Marrakech-Safi region, there are 10 deaths with 9 in Marrakech and 1 in Youssoufia.
5 people died in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, including 4 in Salé and 1 in Rabat. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, the Oriental and Fès-Meknès each recorded 4 deaths. Tanger-Assilah has 1 death against 1 in M’Diq-Fnideq, 1 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Ouezzane, 1 in Nador, 1 in Driouch, 1 in Jerada and 1 in Taourirt. As for Fès, Boulemane and Taounate, they have 2, 1 and 1 deaths respectively.
In the Souss-Massa region, there are 2 deaths with 1 death in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane against 1 in Taroudant. In the Béni Melal-Khénifra, Drâa-Tafilalet and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab regions, only 1 death was recorded respectively in Khénifra, Ouarzazate and Oued Ed-Dahab.
