Morocco Reports 70 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Total Fatalities Rise to 5,689

70 deaths due to the coronavirus have been recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said. With these new figures, the number of people who have died from Covid-19 stands at 5,689.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 18 deaths, including 16 in Casablanca, 1 in El Jadida and 1 in Settat. As for Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, it has 13 deaths with 5 in Rabat, 4 in Salé, 2 in Skhirate-Témara, 1 in Kénitra and 1 in Sidi Slimane.
Regarding Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima and Marrakech-Safi, they each have 7 deaths. Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Ouezzane and Larache and M’Diq-Fnideq report 3, 2 and 1 deaths respectively, against 4 in Marrakech, 2 in Rehamna and 1 in Safi.
In the Oriental region and Fez-Meknes, there are 6 deaths. While Oujda-Angad, Berkane, Guercif and Figuig report 3, 1, 1, 1 deaths respectively, Fez, Moulay Yaacoub, Sefrou and Ifrane record 3, 1, 1 and 1 deaths respectively.
They are followed by Souss-Massa, which has 5 deaths with 2 deaths in Inezgane-Ait Melloul, 2 in Tata and 1 in Taroudant. Then comes Beni Mellal-Khénifra, which records 4 deaths, including 2 in Beni Mellal, 1 in Fquih Ben Salah and 1 in Khourigba.
In the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, there are 2 deaths, with 1 in Guelmim and 1 in Sidi Ifni. As for Laâyoune-Sakia el Hamra and Daraa-Tafilalet, they each record 1 death, respectively in Laâyoune and Ouarzazate.
