Morocco Reports 65 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Total Cases Surpass 6,400

65 deaths due to the coronavirus were recorded in the last 24 hours in Morocco, the Ministry of Health announced. Since last March, 6,492 cases have been reported in the Kingdom.
Covid-19 claimed 17 lives in the Greater Casablanca-Settat region with 11 deaths in Casablanca, 5 in Berrechid and 1 in Benslimane. The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region recorded 12 deaths, including 5 in Rabat, 4 in Salé, 2 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Khémisset.
Souss-Massa and Fès-Meknès each recorded 8 deaths. 3 deaths were recorded in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and Taroudant against 2 deaths in Tiznit while Fès reported 4 deaths against 2 in Meknès, 1 in Séfrou and 1 in Taza.
Béni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 6 deaths, including 3 in Khénifra, 2 in Fquih Ben Salah and 1 in Béni Mellal. It is followed by Marrakech-Safi, which has 4 deaths with 1 in Marrakech, 1 in Essaouira, 1 in Chichaoua and 1 in Youssoufia.
Then come Guelmin-Oued Noun, Darâa-Tafilalet and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, each with 3 deaths. As for Tétouan and Al Hoceima, they report 2 and 1 deaths respectively against 3 in Sidi Ifni. In Errachidia and Tinghir, 2 and 1 deaths were recorded respectively. In the Oriental region, only one patient succumbed to Covid-19 in Nador.
