Morocco Reports 70 New COVID-19 Deaths, Casablanca Hardest Hit

Morocco recorded 70 deaths due to the coronavirus. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 5,539 people have died from Covid-19 in the Kingdom.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region once again tops the list of cities most affected by Covid-19 deaths with 22 deaths, all in Casablanca. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima with 12 deaths, including 3 in Tétouan, 3 in Chefchaouen, 2 in Larache and Ouezzane, 1 in Tanger-Assilah and 1 in Al Hoceima.
In the Fès-Meknès region, there are 8 deaths with 3 in Meknès, 2 in Fès, 1 in Taza, 1 in Séfrou and 1 in Taounate. Marrakech-Safi and the Oriental each recorded 6 deaths. While Marrakech announces 4 deaths against 1 in Chichaoua and 1 in Youssoufia, Berkane reports two deaths against 1 in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Nador, 1 in Guercif and 1 in Taourit.
In the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Souss-Massa and Béni Mellal-Khénifra regions, there are 4 deaths. While Salé and Sidi Kacem record 2 deaths, Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane and Tiznit record 2, 1 and 1 deaths respectively. As for Khouribga and Khémisset, they each have 2 deaths.
In Darâa-Tafilalet, the coronavirus has caused 3 deaths, including 2 in Tinghir and 1 in Zagora. Only one person died from Covid-19 in Guelmin-Oued-Noun.
