Morocco Reports 70 New COVID-19 Deaths, Casablanca Hardest Hit

70 deaths due to the coronavirus were recorded in the last 24 hours in Morocco, bringing the number of deaths due to Covid-19 to 4,197 since the start of the epidemic in March.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region has 21 deaths, all in Casablanca. It is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and the Oriental region, each with 11 deaths. While Salé has 9 deaths, Rabat 1 death and Sidi Slimane 1 death, Oujda-Angad announces 4 deaths, Nador records 3 deaths, Jerada has 2 deaths against 1 in Berkane and Figuid.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima reports 10 deaths, including 3 in Tétouan, 2 in Larache and in Al Hoceima against 1 in Chefchaouen and in Ouezzane. Coronavirus has killed 6 people in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, including 3 in Fquih Ben Salah, 2 in Khouribga and 1 in Béni Mellal. In the Marrakech-Safi region, 3 people died. Marrakech has 2 deaths against 1 in Essaouira.
2 deaths are recorded in Darâa-Tafilalet, both in Errachidia. Fès-Meknès also recorded 2 deaths, including 1 in Boulemane and 1 in Taounate.
Guelmim-Oued Noun, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab each report 1 death respectively in Guelmin, Boujdour and Oued Eddahab.
