Morocco Reports 75 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Total Rises to 4,272

The coronavirus has caused 75 deaths in the last 24 hours in Morocco, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing the number of deaths to 4,272 since the start of the epidemic last March.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region still holds the grim record with 18 deaths, including 16 in Casablanca and 2 in Settat. It is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, which has 11 deaths, including 5 in Kénitra, 3 in Salé, 2 in Skhirate-Témara and 1 in Rabat.
Souss-Massa has 10 deaths. Agadir-Ida-Ou-Taounate has 6 deaths, compared to 2 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Chtouka-Ait Baha as well as in Taroudant. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima has 8 deaths, including 4 in Tétouan, 2 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Tanger-Assilah and 1 in Larache.
The Oriental, Marrakech-Safi and Fès-Meknès each recorded 6 deaths. While Oujda-Angad and Berkane reported 2 deaths, Nador and Driouch recorded 1 death, Marrakech announced 4 deaths compared to 2 in Essaouira. Taza and Fès reported 2 deaths. Taounate and Meknès recorded 1 death.
The coronavirus killed 4 patients in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, including 3 in Fquih Ben Salah and 1 in Khénifra. In the Guelmin-Oued Noun region, 4 deaths were also recorded, all in Guelmin. As for the Darâa-Tafilalet region, it recorded two, including 1 in Errachidia and 1 in Ouarzazate.
