Morocco Reports 81 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours as Cases Surge

With the resurgence of Covid-19 cases in Morocco, the number of deaths due to the coronavirus continues to increase. The Kingdom recorded 81 deaths, for a total of 4,506 since the start of the epidemic last March.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, 15 deaths were recorded, including 13 in Casablanca, 1 in El Jadida and 1 in Settat. Then come Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and the Oriental, each with 12 deaths. While Salé has 8 deaths against 3 in Kénitra and 1 in Skhirate-Témara, Oujda-Angad reports 4 deaths against 2 in Berkane, 2 in Nador and 2 in Taourit.
In Béni-Mellal-Khénifra, 11 people died, including 7 in Khourigba, 2 in Khéniffra, 1 in Fquih Ben Salah and 1 in Azilal. Fès-Meknès announces 7 deaths, including 2 in Taza, 2 in Meknès against 1 in Séfrou and 1 in Boulemane. The Coronavirus also caused 7 deaths in Marrakech-Safi, including 5 in Marrakech, 1 in Essaouira and 1 in El Kelâa des Sraghna.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Souss-Massa each have 6 deaths. If Larache has 4 deaths and 1 death in Tétouan as well as in Tanger-Assilah, Tata has 2 deaths against 1 in Tiznit, 1 in Chtouka-Ait Baha, 1 in Taroudant and 1 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul.
Guelmin Oued-Noun announces 3 deaths, all in Guelmin. As for Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra, it reports 2 deaths with 1 death in Laâyoune and 1 in Es-Semara.
