Morocco Reports 80 New COVID-19 Deaths, Casablanca Hardest Hit

Morocco has recorded 80 deaths due to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths due to Covid-19 to 5,396 since the beginning of the epidemic in the Kingdom.
Casablanca-Settat has 26 deaths, including 25 in Casablanca and 1 in Berrechid. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra has 12 deaths with 6 in Salé, 2 in Rabat, 2 in Khémisset, 1 in Kénitra and 1 in Sidi Slimane. In the Oriental region, Covid-19 killed 9 patients, including 4 in Oujda-Angad, 3 in Guercif, 1 in Berkane and 1 in Driouch.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima has 8 deaths, including 4 in Tétouan, 2 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Tanger-Assilah and 1 in Larache. It is followed by Béni Mellal-Khénifra, which reports 7 deaths with 5 in Béni Mellal, 1 in Khénifra and 1 in Azilal.
5 people died in Marrakech-Safi, including 3 in Marrakech, 1 in Essaouira and 1 in Chichaoua. In the Souss-Massa and Daraa Tafilalet regions, there are 4 deaths. Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane announces 2 deaths against 1 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Tata, while Errachidia records 3 deaths against 1 in Midelt.
Fès-Meknès has 2 deaths, as does Guelmim-Oued Noun. Fès and Taza each have 1 death, as do Guelmim and Tan Tan. In the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region, the coronavirus claimed 1 life in Es-Semara.
