Morocco Reports 82 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Total Rises to 4,779

The Ministry of Health announced 82 deaths due to the coronavirus, in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 4,779 since the start of the pandemic last March.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region recorded 24 deaths, including 23 in Casablanca and 1 in Benslimane. In the Oriental region, there were 12 deaths with 4 in Oujda, 3 in Berkane, 2 in Guercif, 1 in Jerada, 1 in Taourirt and 1 in Nador.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima each recorded 9 deaths. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra announced respectively 2 deaths in Kénitra, 2 deaths in Salé and 2 deaths in Skhirate-Témara against 1 death in Rabat, 1 in Khémisset and 1 other death in Sidi Slimane. As for Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, it recorded 2 deaths in Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima and Larache against 1 death in Tanger-Assilah and Tétouan.
In Souss-Massa, 8 people died from the Coronavirus, including 4 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul, 3 in Taroudant and 1 in Tiznit. 7 people succumbed to Covid-19 in Marrakech-Safi with 3 in Marrakech, 1 in El Kelâa des Sraghna, 1 in Youssoufia and 1 in Al Haouz. In the Fès-Meknès and Béni Mellal-Khénifra regions, 4 deaths were recorded. Fès announced 2 deaths against 1 in Meknès and 1 in Boulemane Khourigba reported 3 deaths against 1 in Fquih Ben Salah.
In Darâa-Tafilalet, there were 3 deaths with 2 in Midelt and 1 in Tinghir. Moreover, Guelmin-Oued-Noun and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra each recorded 1 death in Guelmin and Laâyoune respectively.
