Morocco Reports 77 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Casablanca Hardest Hit

The coronavirus has caused 77 deaths, bringing the number of deaths in Morocco since the beginning of the epidemic to 5,090.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region recorded 25 deaths, all in Casablanca. The Oriental and Marrakech-Safi regions each recorded 10 deaths. Oujda-Angad announced 4 deaths against 3 in Guercif, 1 in Driouch, 1 in Jerada and 1 in Figuid. As for Marrakech, Youssoufia and Rehamna, they recorded 7, 2 and 1 death respectively.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra reported 8 deaths with 3 deaths in Kénitra, 2 in Skhirate-Témara, 2 in Rabat and 1 in Salé. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima recorded 7 deaths, including 2 in Tanger, 2 in Tétouan, 1 in M’Diq-Fnideq, 1 in Larache and 1 in Al Hoceima.
Darâa-Tafilalet also recorded 7 deaths. Errachidia as well as Tinghir announced 3 deaths against 1 in Zagora. It is followed by Souss-Massa, which recorded 6 deaths, including 4 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanan and 2 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul.
Fès-Meknès recorded 2 deaths, including 1 in Taza and 1 in Boulemane. Only Guelmim-Oued Noun and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra recorded 1 death each, respectively in Laâyoune and Guelmin.
