Morocco Reports 66 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Reaches 7,780

The Ministry of Health announced on Saturday, during its traditional press briefing, 66 new coronavirus infections. The kingdom has a total of 7,780.
The number of recoveries continues to progress in Morocco. 130 new recoveries were recorded in 24 hours, for a total of 5,401 people (69.42%). During this day, 2 new deaths were recorded, bringing the number of people who have succumbed to covid-19 to 204 (2.62%).
Four regions are affected by these 65 new infections. The Casablanca-Settat region has 49 cases. It is followed by Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (+14), Marrakech-Safi (+2) and Béni Melal-Khénifra (+1). As for the other regions, they did not record any new cases.
The cases excluded after negative laboratory tests are approaching the 200,000 mark (192,218, an increase of 9,871), while 2,175 cases are under treatment.
