Morocco Reports 295 New COVID-19 Recoveries, Nears 8,000 Total Cases

The number of recoveries continues to increase in Morocco. 295 new recoveries were recorded this Monday at 10 a.m. According to the portal dedicated to covid-19 in Morocco, the total number of remissions stands at 5,754, or 73.59%.
No deaths were recorded during this day. The number of people who have succumbed to the coronavirus stands at 205 since the appearance of the first case of coronavirus in Morocco. The fatality rate remains stable at 2.62%.
In addition, new infections are still declining, with 12 new cases reported this Monday at 10 a.m. The total number of infection cases stands at 7,819. Morocco is approaching the 8,000 case mark.
As for the 12 new cases, they were recorded in 3 regions: Casablanca-Settat has 6 cases while Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima has 4 new infections, followed by Marrakech-Safi (+2).
The number of cases excluded after negative analysis results in the laboratory reached 208,366 against 1,860 cases under treatment.
