Morocco Reports 26 New COVID-19 Cases, 106 Recoveries as Outbreak Continues

26 new coronavirus infections have been detected since this morning in Morocco, according to data published on the covidmaroc.ma platform. The kingdom now has a total of 7,740.
Four regions are affected by these 26 new infections. The Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region has 12 cases compared to 11 for Casablanca-Settat, the most affected region. They are followed by Marrakech-Safi (+2) and Béni Melal-Khénifra. As for the other regions, they have not recorded any new cases.
Recoveries continue to increase in Morocco. 106 new cases have been reported, for a total of 5,377 (69.47%). As for deaths, a new case was recorded after 4 days of stability. The number of people who have succumbed to covid-19 now stands at 203, or 2.62%.
In addition, 188,729 cases have been excluded after negative laboratory tests (an increase of 6,382), while 2,160 cases are still under treatment.
