Morocco Reports 46 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 8,931

The Ministry of Health announced the recording of 46 new coronavirus infections, this Tuesday at 6 p.m. The total number of infections stands at 8,931, since the appearance of the first case of Covid-19 in the kingdom.
Six regions are affected by these new infected cases. In detail, 19 new infections were recorded in Marrakech-Safi against 16 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma. As for Fès-Meknès, it recorded 6 cases. Casablanca-Settat and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra each have two new infections. As for the Oriental region, it recorded a single contamination.
In addition, 57 new recoveries were recorded on Tuesday against 0 deaths. The number of recoveries now stands at 7,937, while the number of people who have succumbed to the coronavirus stands at 212.
The Ministry of Health calls on Moroccans to respect the barrier gestures.
