Morocco Reports 178 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 14,949

The Ministry of Health announced the recording of 178 new coronavirus infections. The total number of infections now stands at 14,949.
In total, 9 regions have been affected by these new cases. Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Marrakech-Safi have 49 and 46 cases respectively. They are followed by Casablanca-Settat (38) and Fès-Meknès (26). Guelmim Oued Noun has 6 cases against 5 for Souss-Massa. As for Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, they each recorded 2 cases, followed by the Oriental with 1 case.
As for Daraa-tafilalet, BéniMellal-Khenifra and Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab, they did not record any new cases.
Only 56 new recoveries were recorded in 24 hours in the kingdom, bringing the number of people who have overcome the coronavirus to 11,372.
