Morocco’s COVID-19 Recovery Rate Hits 85.2% as New Cases Continue to Rise

Morocco recorded 210 new recoveries on Friday, according to the Minister of Health. The total number of recoveries now stands at 14,175.
The recovery rate is now 85.2%, the ministry specifies.
New infections continue to increase. To date, Morocco has 16,638 cases after the detection of 93 new infections. Unlike yesterday, only 8 regions recorded new confirmed cases. They are mainly concentrated in Fès-Meknès which recorded 34 new infections, followed by Marrakech-Safi (+21), Casablanca-Settat (+19), Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima (+9).
As for the other regions, namely Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab, Guelmim Oued Noun, Beni Mellal-Khénifra, Rabat Salé Kenitra, they respectively recorded 4, 3, 1 and 2 Covid-19 infections.
Since last night, the Kingdom has not recorded any new deaths. To date, 263 people have died from Covid-19.
