Morocco Reports 25 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Reaches 7,048

Coronavirus cases in Morocco continue to rise but at a slower pace. Could this be the beginning of the much-awaited turnaround by the authorities? Since last night, 25 people have been infected with covid-19, for a total of 7,048.
This relatively good news is accompanied, however, by a bad one, with the death of a patient admitted to the hospital. Since the beginning of the epidemic, Morocco has recorded 197 deaths, for a fatality rate of 2.75%, one of the lowest in the world.
In addition, 2,817 cases are under treatment while 97,867 cases have been excluded after negative laboratory tests.
As for the distribution map of the 7,048 infections, Casablanca-Settat has 2,130 positive cases (+10). It is followed by Marrakech-Safi with 1,296 cases (+2), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 960 cases (+10), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 676 cases (+1), the Oriental with 180 cases (+1) and Souss-Massa with 78 cases (+ 1).
Note that Morocco publishes figures twice a day, at 10am and 4pm.
