Morocco Reports 43 New COVID-19 Cases, Majority in Casablanca

43 new coronavirus infections were recorded today, Saturday, May 23, in Morocco, according to figures from the Ministry of Health published on the covidmaroc.ma website.
As in previous days, the majority of cases recorded in Morocco were in Casablanca (+25), Tangier-Tetouan (+9) and then in Marrakech-Settat (+4), for a total of 7,375 infected people. Fortunately, no deaths have been reported since last night, the ministry said.
It should be noted that the Moroccan health authorities have accelerated the number of tests, mainly on contact cases who have not yet developed symptoms. Since last night, 9,523 tests have been carried out.
Regarding recoveries, they amount to 196 since yesterday for a total of 4,573 since the beginning of the epidemic.
