Morocco Reports 36 New COVID-19 Cases as Testing Continues

36 new coronavirus infections were recorded today, Tuesday, June 16, in Morocco, according to figures from the Ministry of Health published on the covidmaroc.ma website.
Two regions concentrate the majority of infections since last night. These are Marrakech-Settat (+17) and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (+16). Then come Casablanca-Settat (+2) and the Oriental with a single infection.
It should be noted that the Moroccan health authorities carried out some 8,465 tests, mainly on contact cases who have not yet developed symptoms. Since last March, Morocco has carried out 438,852 tests.
Regarding recoveries, they amount to 52 since yesterday for a total of 7,880 since the start of the epidemic.
The Ministry of Health reports no deaths.
