Morocco Reports 46 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 8,985

The new coronavirus figures were unveiled a few minutes ago by the Ministry of Health. Since yesterday, the kingdom has 46 more cases of covid-19.
Five regions have been affected since yesterday. These are Casablanca-Settat (+31), Marrakech-Safi (+12), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma (+9), the Oriental (+1) and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (+1). Since the start of the epidemic, 8,985 people have been affected by the coronavirus in Morocco.
In addition, the various Moroccan hospitals and laboratories have carried out 7,335 tests for a total of 454,172 since last March. In recent weeks, Morocco has been carrying out an average of 15,000 daily tests and should exceed 20,000 as deconfinement approaches.
It should also be noted that 813 people are currently in hospital, 31 more than yesterday.
The Ministry of Health calls on citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
