Morocco Reports 103 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 12,636

The new coronavirus infection figures were released a few minutes ago by the Ministry of Health. Since yesterday, 103 cases have been recorded in Morocco, bringing the total since the start of the epidemic to 12,636.
Here are the details of the new Covid-19 infections in the country (this data is published live).
• Casablanca-Settat: +23
• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +5
• Rabat Salé Kenitra: +8
• Marrakech Safi: +12
• Fès-Meknès: +39
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +6
• Oriental: +5
• Souss-Massa: +1
• Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab: +2
Here are the other key figures:
• No deaths were recorded. Total at 228. Fatality rate at 1.8%
• 16,834 tests. Total at 685,492.
• 0 patient under treatment. Total at 3,382.
• 106 new recoveries. Total at 9,026. Recovery rate at 71.43%
Note that Morocco is supposed to end the state of emergency on July 10 next. If this is the case, the opening of borders should follow, with the possibility for tourists and especially Moroccans living abroad to enter Morocco. Still, they will have to accept the constraints imposed by the authorities (Covid test, quarantine...)
