Morocco Reports 218 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 12,854

Some 218 people have been infected since last night in Morocco, according to figures just released by the Minister of Health. Since the start of the epidemic in the Kingdom, 12,854 cases have been recorded.
Here are the details of the contaminations by region for this Thursday, July 2 at 10 a.m.:
• Casablanca-Settat: +26
• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +75
• Marrakech Safi: +25
• Rabat Salé Kenitra: +4
• Fès-Meknès: +21
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +64
• Souss-Massa: +1
• Guelmim Oued Noun: +3
Here are the other figures to remember:
• No deaths were recorded. Total at 228. Fatality rate at 1.77%
• 7,291 tests. Total at 692,783.
• 192 patients under treatment. Total at 3,574.
• 26 new recoveries. Total at 9,052. Recovery rate at 70.42%
The ministry once again calls on the population to scrupulously respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the measures enacted by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
