Morocco Reports 29 New COVID-19 Cases, Lowest Daily Increase in June

The number of coronavirus infections has increased since this morning in Morocco, according to the Ministry of Health. Since last night, 29 new cases have been reported.
It is a fluctuating evolution that the Kingdom has been experiencing for a few days. While since the beginning of the week, new COVID-19 infections have exceeded an average of 70 cases, with a peak of 134 last Tuesday, this Thursday, the authorities report only 29 new cases, the 2nd lowest figure since the beginning of the month.
Five regions are affected by the new infections, mainly in Casablanca (+10), Marrakech (+10) and Tangier (+6). They are followed by Meknes-Fez (2) and one case in Rabat.
In addition, 743 people are still undergoing treatment in the various hospitals in the country, 11 more than yesterday.
As for the tests, Morocco has carried out more than 16,500 since last night.
