Morocco Reports 16 New COVID-19 Cases, Mostly in Casablanca and Rabat

A total of 16 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (covid-19) have been detected since last night in Morocco, according to data published by the Ministry of Health on the covidmaroc.ma platform.
Among the infected people, 11 are from Casablanca and 7 from Rabat-Salé, the ministry said, specifying that the majority of the new infections were detected among contact cases, that is to say people who do not yet have symptoms but who can on the other hand spread the virus.
In addition, the Ministry of Health reported no deaths for this day of June 10. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 210 people have died in Morocco, or 2.48% of lethality.
It should be noted that since last night, the health authorities have carried out some 12,651 tests.
