Morocco Reports 81 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 8,003

Morocco recorded 81 new coronavirus infections on Thursday at 6 p.m. With these new cases, the number of patients infected with covid-19 now stands at 8,003.
In detail, these cases were recorded in five regions. In Marrakech-Safi, there are 31 new infections, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma records 22 cases against 14 for Fès-Meknès. They are followed by Casablanca-Settat (+12) and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (+2). No cases were recorded in the other regions.
On Thursday, June 4, the Ministry of Health reported the death of two patients with Covid-19, adding that since the epidemic, 208 people have died from the virus.
A few days before deconfinement, Moroccans are invited to continue to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the authorities.
