Morocco Reports 29 New COVID-19 Cases, Maintains High Testing Rate

There is not yet a real drop in Covid-19 infections in Morocco. Since last night, the health authorities have reported 29 new cases of coronavirus infections.
As in previous days, these new cases were recorded in Casablanca-Settat (15), Tangier-Tetouan (7) and finally Marrakech-Safi with 5 new infections. The other regions did not have any new cases.
Regarding the people who have recovered, the Ministry of Health announces the figure of 20 people only for a total since the beginning of the epidemic of 7,215.
As for the tests, the acceleration observed in recent days in Morocco is maintained with 8,612 tests carried out since yesterday. Since last March, Moroccan hospitals and laboratories have carried out 261,619 tests.
It should be noted that this Friday, June 5, no deaths were recorded, but the final tally of the day will have to be waited for to be sure.
For the record, Morocco must end the state of health emergency on June 10 next, unless it is extended.
