Morocco Reports 26 New COVID-19 Cases, Mostly in Casablanca Region

26 new infections were recorded this Monday, June 1 in Morocco, mainly in the Casablanca region, according to the Ministry of Health.
In detail, the report from the health authorities shows 15 cases were discovered in Casablanca and its region, 4 new infections in the Tanger and Béni-Mellal regions, 2 in Marrakech and 1 single case in the Guelmim region.
The figures revealed today at 6 pm show an acceleration in the number of tests performed in Morocco. For the first time since the start of the epidemic in March, the kingdom has exceeded 12,000 daily tests.
It should be noted that these new figures suggest a clear improvement in the epidemiological situation in the Kingdom. For comparison, the average last week was more than a hundred cases per day.
