Morocco Reports 45 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 7,967

45 new COVID-19 infections have been recorded since last night in Morocco. These new cases bring to 7,967 the number of Moroccans affected by the coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic in March.
In detail, these figures revealed by the Ministry of Health, 20 cases were recorded in the Tangier-Tetouan region, 13 in Marrakech-Safi and 10 in Casablanca-Settat. The other regions have not seen any infections since yesterday. However, we will have to wait for the press conference this afternoon to be sure.
The Ministry of Health also reports one death, bringing the total to 207, while the number of recoveries stands at 7,160 since last March, 274 more than yesterday.
Regarding the tests, the various laboratories and hospitals throughout the kingdom have carried out 9,654 tests and this figure should increase significantly in the coming days, as King Mohammed VI has ordered their implementation in companies.
