Morocco Reports 102 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Rises to 4,423

Infections are on the rise again in Morocco with 102 new confirmed coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of positive cases to 4,423.
While the number of recovered cases continues to increase, the number of deaths is declining sharply, the Ministry of Health announced. Thus, the Health Department recorded 2 new deaths against 56 recoveries in 24 hours, for a total of 170 deaths and 984 recoveries since the beginning of the epidemic in Morocco.
This new surge in confirmed cases is the third after those of Monday, April 27 and Wednesday, April 28, the same source points out.
For now, it is premature to talk about an expected epidemic peak, which is rather expected between Monday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 10, it is explained.
