Morocco Reports 160 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Reaches 4,729 as Peak Nears

160 new cases of covid-19 infection were confirmed in Morocco in 24 hours, bringing the total number of people tested positive for covid-19 to 4,729, the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday, May 2 at 4 p.m.
The Ministry of Health recorded 160 new cases of covid-19 infection, bringing the total number of people tested positive to 4,729.
In total, 1,256 recoveries have been recorded since the start of the epidemic in Morocco after the recording of 173 cases of healing in 24 hours, against 173 confirmed deaths.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of confirmed cases on Saturday is practically the same as that recorded the day before. However, the number of infections remains below the levels recorded between April 16 and 26. According to medical sources, the epidemic peak in Morocco would be expected at the end of next week.
