Morocco’s COVID-19 Mortality Rate at 3.3%, Well Below Global Average

The new assessment of infections shows that Morocco is performing well in terms of recovery cases and deaths. To date, the average recovery rate has been largely exceeded by the kingdom and the mortality rate is decreasing every day.
According to the Ministry of Health, Morocco’s mortality rate stands at 3.3%, while the global average in this regard is 7%. This percentage, well below the global average, is a testament to the effectiveness of health care in the kingdom, it is indicated.
Furthermore, 140 new cases of Covid-19 infection were confirmed in Morocco in 24 hours, bringing the total number of people tested positive for Covid-19 to 5,548.
No deaths were recorded against 162 recoveries in 24 hours; which brings the official toll respectively to 183 deaths and 2,179 remissions since the beginning of the epidemic in Morocco.
