Morocco Reports 174 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 4,900

174 new cases of covid-19 were recorded this Sunday at 4 p.m. Now, the toll in Morocco stands at 4,900 infections.
According to the Director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Health, Mohamed Lyoubi, the cases of healing were established until Sunday at 4 p.m., at 1,438, with 182 new remissions against 174 deceased persons after the recording of a new death. In addition, 36,081 cases have been ruled out following negative tests.
According to the Ministry of Health, the case fatality rate (i.e. the number of deceased patients compared to the total number of infected people) continues to decrease every day. It stands at 3.5%, which places Morocco in a relatively low global average and reflects the effectiveness of health care in the kingdom.
