Morocco’s Regragui to Announce Squad for Brazil, Peru Friendlies; Díaz’s Status Uncertain

Walid Regragui should unveil on Monday the list of players called up for the two friendly matches against Brazil and Peru on March 25 and 28. The return of some former players like Samy Mmae and Imran Louza is announced, while the presence of Brahim Diaz remains uncertain.
Faithful to the call he had made to players who were not called up for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Walid Regragui could invite players like Samy Mmae playing at Ferencváros and Imran Louza, midfielder of Watford. According to FOOT MERCATO, the two players should be on the extended list of players who will challenge Brazil on March 25 in Tangier, and Peru, on the 28th of the same month in Madrid, Spain.
As for Brahim Diaz, who had agreed to join the Moroccan national football team, he would still be in the sights of Spain. The coach of La Roja has decided to call him up to join the next gathering scheduled as part of the qualifiers for Euro 2024 where Spain will face Norway and Scotland on March 25 and 28.
His absence in Morocco will be the answer to the steps taken by Walid Regragui by attending on February 14 the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 match between AC Milan and Tottenham (1-0). In any case, surprises are announced on the list that the coach of the Atlas Lions will unveil this Monday.
