Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz Likely to Choose Spain Over Morocco for Euro 2024 Qualifiers

Approached by Walid Regragui to join the Atlas Lions, Brahim Diaz would he be declining the offer? The Spanish player of Moroccan origin would be on the extended list of the Roja for their next gathering as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Brahim Diaz should remain a Spanish international, the Spanish press believes, announcing that the name of the player of Moroccan origin appears on the extended list of Luis de la Fuente, coach of the Roja, for the gathering against Norway and Scotland on March 25 and 28, as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
In mid-February, beIN Sports announced that Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, had met the Spanish international of Moroccan origin to try to convince him to play for the Moroccan national team. Regragui had also attended the February 14 Champions League round of 16 first leg match between AC Milan, the club where Brahim Diaz plays as a midfielder, and Tottenham (1-0).
The Moroccan national team should have its next gathering at the end of March to prepare for its match against Brazil on March 25 in Tangier, and against Peru on March 28 in Madrid, Spain.
