Morocco Receives 4 Million Sinopharm Vaccine Doses, Boosting COVID-19 Vaccination Efforts

Morocco received 4 million new doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine last Friday. This will strengthen the kingdom’s stock as it successfully carries out its vaccination campaign against the coronavirus.
In total, 4 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine were received on Friday morning. This new delivery brings the number of doses received by Morocco to 40.5 million, which is the initial order placed with the Chinese laboratory. The kingdom, which has since revised its order, expects to receive new shipments, including 5 million doses by the end of the week.
To date, Morocco has received 54.1 million doses of all types of vaccines. As of September 26, 21,931,087 people have received the first dose. The number of people who have received both doses is 18,375,508.
