Morocco to Receive 850,000 Pfizer Vaccine Doses Amid Supply Shortage

A new shipment of the American-German vaccine, Pfizer-BioNTech, is expected in Morocco this Tuesday. In total, 850,000 doses will be received.
Morocco will receive this Tuesday, October 26, 2021, a new batch of 850,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as part of an order for 4.5 million doses. Two weeks ago, the supplier had delivered 270,000 doses. Due to the depletion of stocks, the American-German vaccine must no longer be taken for the first and third doses. Citizens can only be injected with this vaccine for the second dose.
Starting this Monday, October 25, a provisional vaccine pass will be issued between the first and second dose. It will be valid for 28 days until the administration of the second dose. This will allow its holders to circulate for 28 days, between the two doses.
As of October 24, 2,264,000 have received the first dose, 21,526,896 the second and 1,037,229 the third dose. The Covid-19 report shows 944,378 cases of contamination and 14,621 deaths.
