Morocco Receives 500,000 Sinopharm Vaccine Doses from China, Boosting COVID-19 Campaign

Morocco received 500,000 new doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine this Friday. This new batch supports the kingdom’s efforts to carry out its anti-Covid vaccination campaign.
It was a Royal Air Maroc Dreamliner that transported this new delivery of the Sinopharm vaccine from China. This batch is added to another of the same quantity, received by the kingdom last Monday. As soon as they landed on Moroccan soil, the 500,000 doses were transported by three trucks from the National Transport and Logistics Company to the Independent Freezing Agency, in Casablanca.
It should be noted that since India suspended its shipments of the AstraZeneca vaccine, China has regularly delivered its vaccine to the kingdom. The latter, as indicated by Li Zhanshu, the chairman of the National People’s Assembly of China, is expecting to receive around 10 million doses of vaccines in April and May of this year.
