Morocco to Receive Over 1 Million AstraZeneca Vaccine Doses This Saturday

Morocco will receive more than one million doses of the British vaccine, AstraZeneca, next Saturday. At the maneuver, Royal Air Maroc (RAM).
A long-haul flight from RAM will take off on Friday towards India, where the vaccine is manufactured under license, to return the next day to Casablanca, reports Le360. The first batches of the British vaccine AstraZeneca will arrive very precisely on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 3:30 pm.
The Minister of Health, Khaled Aït Taleb, had approved, on January 4, the temporary emergency use authorization of the "Covidshield" vaccine manufactured by AstraZeneca, after the opinion of the national advisory commission. This vaccine is indicated for the active immunization of people over 18 years of age for the prevention of Covid-19 disease, specifies a document from the ministry.
According to the document, the vaccination schedule against the coronavirus consists of two separate doses of 0.5 ml. The second dose should be administered between 4 and 12 weeks after the first dose. As for the shelf life of the vials, it is limited to 6 months. The vials must be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C.
