Morocco to Receive 1.5 Million Sinopharm Vaccine Doses from China

Two planes from the Royal Air Maroc (RAM) airline took off on Wednesday from Mohammed V-Casablanca airport bound for Beijing. They will have to bring back 1.5 million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.
Deliveries of the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine are accelerating in Morocco. A RAM Dreamliner took off at 6:41 am for Beijing, while the second left Mohammed V-Casablanca airport at 8:32 am for the same destination on Wednesday. The two national airline aircraft will have to collect a cargo of 1.5 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine to deliver it to the kingdom on Thursday, May 27, specifies Medias24.
With this new delivery, there will only be a balance of 1.5 million to be delivered to Morocco. The Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, Li Zhanshu, is thus keeping the promise he had made during his interview with Habib El Malki, President of the House of Representatives, to deliver the order of 10 million doses between April and May 2021.
As of May 25, 8,011,014 people have received the first dose. The number of people who have received the two doses is 4,947,483.
