Morocco Ranks Among World’s Most Affordable Countries for Cost of Living, Study Finds

Morocco is on the list of the cheapest countries to live in. This is indicated by the latest ranking of the business magazine, CEOWORLD.
Morocco ranks 104th out of 132 countries; which makes it one of the cheapest countries to live in. Turkey (102nd), Algeria (119th) and Egypt (121st) are all among the cheapest countries to live in.
According to CEOWORLD, India, last in the ranking, is the cheapest country to live in, followed by Afghanistan (131st). Conversely, Switzerland is the most expensive country to live in, followed by Norway (2nd), Iceland (3rd), Japan (4th) and Denmark (5th). France is in 14th position, ahead of the Netherlands (15th), Belgium (18th), the United States (20th), or Canada (24th).
The magazine’s ranking assesses the cost of living in 132 countries. Its realization required the collection and analysis of data from national and international studies, indices and reports, including the consideration of indicators associated with the cost of living, such as housing, grocery prices and transportation.
